What are the different steps of the migration process?

At VoxSun, the migration process is performed in several steps to ensure that your business continues operating smoothly and that you don't miss any phone calls :
Step 1 :
After having opened your account and sorted the billing aspects, a VoxSun technician will call you to discuss and collect information about your current phone system and network. We also determine a cutover date with you for the number port (the process of transferring the phone number or numbers from your old carrier to VoxSun). On this date at around noon, your old phones will stop receiving calls and all of the calls will be directed to your new VoxSun system and phones.
Step 2 :
Once all of the information is received and collected, we configure your phone system, ship out the required pre-configured hardware and send the phone number porting request to your old carrier with the planned cutover date.
Step 3 :
Once you receive your pre-configured hardware, you simply need to plug in the devices. This means that your user's desks will have both your old phone and a new VoxSun phone. Our technicians are also available over the phone to assist you or answer any questions that you might have. If you have purchased an on-site installation, a VoxSun technician will be present on-site to plug in the devices for you. Your new VoxSun phones will already be operational at this point for internal and outgoing phone calls, so your users can start testing and getting familiar with the new system.
Step 4 :
On the cutover date, generally at around noon, calls will stop being sent to your old system and will start being sent to your new VoxSun system. At the end of the day, you can disconnect your old phone system and the migration will be complete.
