There are two ways of forwarding calls. You can either configure it on your IP desk phone or from the VoxSun portal as an incoming call rule. The advantage of configuring an incoming call rule is that you could also set it to follow a specific schedule, it ignores calls coming from a queue and it will also keep working even if your desk phone is disconnected or offline.
To configure call forwarding on your desk phone:

1. Press on the "Menu" button on the screen. This is the fourth button from the left.
(If your phone displays something other than "Menu" at this location, click on the "X" button below the arrows to close the pop-up.)
2. Navigate to "Features,” then "Call Forward" and then to "Always forward".
(Note : It's important not to configure any of two other call forward types, as those may conflict with other features on your phone system.)
3. Use the right or left arrows on the phone to switch the "Always Forward" option to "Enabled".
4. Use the down arrow to navigate down to "Forward to" and type in the phone number to which you want the call forwarded to. Please note that you must always add a "1" before the number. So, for example, a forward to 5146000155 should be written as 15146000155
5. Click on "Save" to save and enable call forwarding.
Call forwarding is now enabled. Whenever call forwarding is enabled, there will be an arrow at the top of your phone's screen to indicate that a forward is active and your desk phone won't ring.
To disable call forwarding:
If you are using a T46/48S phone:
You can simply press on the forwarding arrow button on the bottom right of your phone to turn forwarding on and off. When you turn it on, it will use the last phone number that you configured for your forward.
For all of our phone models:
Follow the same directions, but instead, set the "Always Forward" option to "Disabled".
To enable call forwarding through the VoxSun portal:

1. Log in to the VoxSun Portal as an administrator or user.
2. Click on "Extension" on the left sidebar.
3. Click on the blue underlined link of the extension for which you want to enable call forwarding for.
4. Click on the "Incoming call rules" icon
5. Within the call rules, add a new rule with the following parameters:
a. Action: Transfer To
b. Number(s): Type in the phone number or extension to which you want to transfer the call. This has to be just the number with no spaces, dashes, or other special characters. Ex: 5141234567
c. ring these for: 20 (we recommend 20 seconds to ensure that your cellphone's voicemail is not activated in case you were not able to answer the call)
d. Set to "also call" extension. This will ensure that your desk phone also rings at the same time as your cellphone.
e. Set to "Follow" other rules when call is not completed. This is required so that the call can go to your VoxSun voicemail when you don't answer the call on your cellphone.
f. Leave the other parameters to their default options.
6. Click on the "OK" button to add the rule.
7. We now need to add a second rule to transfer the caller to the voicemail if you do not answer the call on the cellphone. Create a new rule with the following parameters:
a. Action: Transfer To
b. set to extension “voicemail"
c. Leave the other parameters to their default options.
8. Click on the "OK" button to add the rule
You have now activated the call forwarding on your extension.
If you want to deactivate call forwarding, click on the green checkmark in the rules table on both rules to turn them to red "X" icons. You can then reactivate it by clicking on the red "X" icons of both rules to change them to green checkmarks to activate the forward.
